Watch the Throne is a NSFW exclusive RadioApple and AppleRadio fanzine that explores the darker aspects of the relationship between Alastor and Lucifer from Hazbin Hotel!This zine will include pieces from 20 authors and 30 artists, evenly split between RadioApple and AppleRadio dynamics.There are five general themes within the zine: Blasphemy, Eldritch, Murder Husbands, Cannibalism, and Royalty. Each section will showcase incredible work from two authors, two page artists, and one comic artist per dynamic!

Will the zine have applications or will it be invitation only for contributors?

This zine will be invitation-only.That being said, our goal is to find a balance between creators with varying platform sizes and past zine experiences (including none at all!). We fully anticipate having an incredibly diverse list of contributors!

The zine is exclusively NSFW, does that mean it only includes sexual content?

No; the NSFW nature of this zine includes, but is not limited to, artistic nudity, gore/violence, suggestive material, and/or sexual content of any kind.The Table of Contents found within the zine will list any applicable trigger warnings for each piece to ensure that everything is properly tagged.

Does the zine have themes?

This zine will contain five main categories: Blasphemy, Eldritch, Murder Husbands, Cannibalism, and Royalty.Each category will contain two fics, two page artists, and one comic. This will equate to twenty-five contributions per dynamic; fifty works total.Each section will contain a header to distinguish between categories within the zine.

How will the zine be split up?

We plan to offer a single physical book, separated by dynamic. This means that one half of the zine will feature Top!Lucifer, and the other half will feature Top!Alastor. Each dynamic will have its own unique cover to indicate the content immediately within.If you are only interested in a single dynamic, a digital PDF showcasing your preferred dynamic will be available for purchase.

What's the timeline for the zine?

The creation period will run from early January through the end of March and will roll right into the pre-order period, April - May 2026.We will be sharing spotlights throughout the creation and pre-order period to showcase the incredible talent of our contributors and provide a glimpse into the merch on offer.We anticipate being able to start shipping orders in September 2026. That being said, we will, of course, keep everyone posted as the project progresses through its milestones.You can also click here for a more comprehensive overview of the timeline!

Is the zine going to be for-profit or for-charity?

Both! After accounting for production costs, the proceeds from the zine will then be evenly split among the contributors and mods! No one person will be given more than another regardless of their role.Each contributor will then be able to decide what percentage of their share is given to the charity of their choice (out of three designated recipients).Stay tuned for more information on the charities chosen as possible recipients.
